Born Jun Seok Kim in South Korea, adopted and raised in the Netherlands, and now based in London, DJ Seoul Train has spent decades building an extraordinary career as a musician, composer, producer, DJ, and cultural ambassador. His journey through music has taken him across multiple countries, genres, and creative disciplines, making him one of the most unique artists to join the Limitless Krown roster.
Music has been at the heart of Seoul Train’s life since the age of six, when he first began playing piano. Since then, he has evolved into an award-winning creative force whose work spans hip-hop, R&B, jazz, electronic music, film composition, live performance, and Korean traditional music. Throughout his career, he has worked as an MC, producer, DJ, composer, and performer, continually pushing creative boundaries while remaining true to his roots.
His musical journey has included performances across the UK and Europe, appearances at major cultural events, collaborations with respected artists and organisations, and recognition within both the music and creative industries. His work has been featured by MTV Europe, and he has built a reputation as one of the UK’s leading authorities on K-Pop and K-Hip-Hop culture.
What makes Seoul Train particularly special is his ability to bridge worlds.
Combining Korean heritage, European influences, and British culture, his work connects audiences through a powerful blend of music, storytelling, and creativity. Whether performing at festivals, clubs, cultural showcases, fashion events, or composing for film and documentary projects, he consistently delivers experiences that are both meaningful and unforgettable.
His story is also one of resilience.
After losing much of his sight and becoming legally blind in 2017, Seoul Train refused to let adversity define him. Instead, he continued his education, expanded his creative skills, embraced traditional Korean music, and continued building an inspiring career that demonstrates the power of determination and passion.
